Well – you may be surprised to learn that every day, Deaf people are subjected to situations in health, justice and education where some authorities who ought to be responsible for the provision of a qualified sign language interpreter fall short on either providing one, do not hire adequately trained professionals, or do not actually think there is a the need for a qualified interpreter. For a Deaf person, the outcome of this is the same as what Deaf people experienced…?

Can the left become a unified political force?To put it politely, if there is an Irish Tsipras then he or she is keeping themselves well hidden.?

A number of Gardai have committed suicide as a result of senior Garda bullying and it is not getting any better for Garda whistle blowers !! 

Clare Daly has said she has received new information from Garda whistleblowers about alleged corruption in the force.

Daly has said she has been in touch with two serving Gardaí who are facing internal pressure because of their allegations.

During the debate, Mr Wallace spoke about the events over the last year regarding the gardaí and how former Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan and the former Justice Minister Alan Shatter lost their positions. He also spoke about the role of the media in the Garda story.?
